* help window 3
======== PAGE BREAKS SELECTION ========
USE page breaks: [default]
Some ASCII TEXT files have IMBEDDED PAGE BREAK CHARACTERS
within the text. You can identify them, because they look
like this --> character.
They are created with a CNTRL+L keystroke. Ascii code 12.
This command tells the printer to stop printing this page
and go on to the next page.
IGNORE page breaks:
If you want this program not to use these commands, and to
print maximum text lines to the paper.
CUSTOM page breaks:
You may enter a number from 55-125. This number will set
the page size. Embedded page breaks will be ignored.
* help window 4
======== TAB SELECTION MENU ========
Select TAB values to match the text file you are printing.
TABs cause spaces to be inserted into the printed document
until the column number divided by the TAB amount has a
remainder of ZERO. ( this is called a MODULUS ).
Example: if you are at column 5 and TAB = 8 when a TAB char
is found, SPACES will be inserted in columns 5,6,7,8 before
the next character is printed.
Experiment with this option to achieve the best looking
printed results. You will get used to TABS.
* help window 5
======== OTHER OPTIONS ========
PAGE NUMBERING - Default is ON.
When ON the page number is printed to the UPPER-LEFT of
each square on the paper.
PAGE SHADOWING - Default is ON.
When ON the square boxes are SHADOWED with a dark line
to the right and bottom.

front side of the paper. The back side will be blank.

turn the paper over and put it back into the printer, and
continues to print the back sides of the document.

You must have purchased the proper tray for any paper
size you select in AUTOMATIC FEED.
MANUAL FEED - Feed paper by hand into the laser printer.
NOTE: MANUAL FEED WILL PRINT ANY PAPER SIZE WHEN YOU FEED
THE PAPER IN BY HAND. EXAMPLE: LETTER TRAY can MANUAL

* help window 10
======== SELECT PRINTER PORT ========
If you don't know which PORT to use:
First, try PORT 1 ( this is the default, and the most common )
then, PORT 2.
then, PORT 3.
If that doesn't work, go ask a friend who knows a lot about
computers what you should do next.
Normally you don't have to worry, just select PORT 1.
IMPORTANT: IF YOU HAVE A SOFTWARE "SECURITY" DEVICE IN THE
PRINTER PORT, AND PRINTING ACTS WRONG: THE SECURITY DEVICE HAS
FAILED. ASK YOUR VENDOR FOR A NEW KEY! THIS IS HAPPENING VERY
OFTEN LATELY. ASCII-PRINT PRO CANNOT OVERRIDE A DEFECTIVE KEY!
We currently don't support COM PORTS for printing.
